you want philosphical, here's a question for you: we know that the universe is expanding. which means that it isn't endless. that however posts a question, what's beyond the edge of the universe, nothing? and would that nothing by something?

| well, yeah, it is easy to explain like that, it is kinda weird though, because if there is nothing beyond that, and it isn't something, then it wouldn't be observable, so what would you observe on the edge of the universe?

| I wouldn't observe anything as of yet .. but I will always be able to say: "look at the outer rimms of the universe - they weren't there before". Yeah yeah I know, might not be the best answer in the universe ... but who knows, maybe one would come up sometime
